Our services are not limited to race, color, religion, gender or creed and every service recipient is served with sheer respect and inherent dignity, without expecting anything in return.
We are appealing to all our brothers and sisters in Islam as Feedy Needy does have a feeding program for Islam learners. Apart from the 140 schools that we work with, Alhumdulillah many learners are of Islamic faith and attend Jumma Salah. We provide these learners with lunch upon their return to school. We raise funds during the week for groceries that we distribute to the schools. Insha-Allah we try to provide the children with a juice and a fruit with their meal. The meals that we provide these children depend solely on the amount of donations we have during the week. It varies from dhal and rice to biryani.
We want to extend to all our sponsors our very heart felt and sincere gratitude on assisting us on this endeavor as these children are most deserving of these simple meals. Some of these children come from such destitute families that this meal could be the only meal these children have for the entire day. Insha-Allah with the funds we generate we would be able to make a difference in these children’s lives.
