August 2, 2021Feedy Needy hosted major distributions over the past weeks to communities that have been affected by the Virus and the Civil Unrest. Feedy Needy assisted scores of individuals and families with groceries, diapers, milk formula as well as Covid hampers to those that were in quarantine, these packs included freh vegetable and fruit, groceries, medication and supplements.
Communities heartily welcomed all items handed over to them. This distribution would not have been possible without the support of our generous sponsors.
An extended thank you to Omron and team for kindly assisting Feedy Needy with much needed groceries and toiletries as well ingredients for preparation of hot nutritional meals which was randomly distributed to the public, it was a team effort which provided extensive relief for the poor and hungry individuals.
Our sincere gratitude to all kind contributors who were able to sponsor us with hampers and funds to purchase hampers for indigent families. This has definitely made it possible to reach out to vulnerable families during the pandemic and to those that have been affected by the civil unrest.
Feedy Needy will endeavor to continue distribution of meals and food hampers to the public through this hardship and humbly appeal for any kind of assistance to continue to serve hot meals and groceries. We are hoping to bring peace and comfort.
Feedy Needy assisted many residents in the vicinity of Phoenix,Verulam, Chatsworth, Merebank, Newlands,Pietermaritzburg, Newcastle and other areas in the North and South Coast
Families out there are facing difficulties and really need assistance.
