Feedy Needy makes This Diwali SpecialAs the auspicious occasion of Diwali approaches, the Feedy Needy organization handed out Diwali hampers to indigent families in the area, as it is tradition. As much as we reach out to the less fortunate throughout the year, it is on special occasions that they need that little dose of added compassion. We strive to give that to them and make the day special for those in need.Freshly prepared Vegetable and chicken biryani were prepared from early hours of the morning and distributed to the public, bread, grocery hampers to last them for days together with packs of frozen chicken and sweetmeats were handed over to sweeten the day.The festival of lights brightened as recipients from areas in and around Durban flocked in their numbers to receive hampers and hot meals.Feedy Needy extends a hearty thank you to all sponsors and dedicated staff for making this outreach successful and possible.
