National Youth Day on 16 June is a public holiday in South Africa and commemorates a protest which resulted in a wave of protests across the country known as the Soweto uprising of 1976.

The Feedy Needy team assist indigent learners from various schools in and around Kwa Zulu Natal, as well as The Cerebral Palsy association with diapers, jungle oats, bread biscuits and shelters with clothing and blankets in respect of National Youth Day 2021.

Groceries and bread as well as diapers were consistently distributed over the weeks. The team will continue to assist those that are vulnerable and affected by the loss of income and lack of employment.

Please note that meals are freshly prepared weekly in large quantities and distributed to various areas throughout Kwa-Zulu Natal.

Our extensive work is not restricted to just the Phoenix community, we also work irrespective of race,creed and culture.

Apart from distributions of Wheelchairs our extensive work has reached out to many individuals, families,children and the seniors.
