Feedy Needy Lights up Diwali Once Again

As the auspicious occasion of Diwali approaches, the Feedy Needy organization handed out Diwali hampers to indigent families in the area, as it is tradition. Public Relations Officer Reena Rampersad, said, “As much as we reach out to the less fortunate throughout the year, it is on special occasions that they need that little dose of added compassion. We strive to give that to them and make the day special for those in need.”

The festival of lights brightened as recipients came in their number graciously to receive the much needed groceries, which include, bread and fresh vegetables apart from the groceries that filled their bag, members from the community also received freshly prepared, hot meals.

Feedy Needy extends a hearty thanks to all sponsors and staff for making this outreach successful and possible.
