June 22, 2021Youth Day on 16 June is a public holiday in South Africa and commemorates a protest which resulted in a wave of protests across the country known as the Soweto uprising of 1976.
The Feedy Needy team assist indigent learners and families with grocery hampers and treats in respect of National Youth Day 2021.

Noodles
Pastas
Biscuits
Chocolates

Chilli Powder

Face Masks
Freshly prepared meals and hundreds of loaves of bread will be distributed to areas in the South Coast tomorrow.
Grocery hampers with 10kg Chicken quarters were consistently distributed over the weeks. The team will continue to assist those that are vulnerable and affected by the loss of income and lack of employment.
Seniors citizens and those with medical conditions that cannot sustain their household have and will be assisted with food hampers and clothing together with blankets and other Winter wear to gear them up for harsh weather conditions and impact over the 3rd wave of the Pandemic still in effect.
Please note that meals are freshly prepared weekly in large quantities and distributed to various areas throughout Kwa-Zulu Natal.
Our extensive work is not restricted to just the Phoenix community, we also work irrespective of race,creed and culture.
Apart from distributions of Wheelchairs our extensive work has reached out to many individuals, families,children and the seniors.
