Feedy Needy Reaches Out During Ramadaan

The Feedy Needy team recently embarked on a campaign to distribute grocery hampers and freshly prepared meals to impoverished families during the fasting period and after four weeks of hard work and early rising, we are reaching our goal.

Delicious, hot biryani and Haleem with naan were distributed to members of the community around midday over the past four weekends from headquarters, residents flocked in their numbers to receive their meals. All recipients were screened and hampers were handed over to areas like Phoenix,Verulam, Newcastle, Pmb and various other areas .

Some families and their homes were also affected by the recent floods and also received some relief from Feedy Needy, the team helped those in need with basic toiletries, clothes, blankets, groceries, bread and freshly prepared meals.

More groceries hampers will be distributed this week to deserving recipients and have been allocated their hamper numbers already. Feedy Needy extends their appreciation to all volunteers, sponsors, fundraisers and colleagues for their team effort and to all those that have generously contributed to making the distributions a success. Best wishes for Eid-ul Fitr and May Almighty shower our nation with peace and harmony from the Feedy Needy crew.
